I’m Justin Ninneman from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep love for creating—especially designing and building furniture. That passion has been with me for over 23 years. It started quietly, growing in the background of my life, influenced by my Opa, a master cabinetmaker. While he never formally taught me the craft, I was always surrounded by his work—beautifully built casework, chairs, and tables that still leave me in awe. His skill set the bar high.
I still hear his words: “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” That line stuck with me. It guided me through art school, where I found myself torn between Communication Design and my dream of designing furniture. I chose branding and design as a career path—and I’ve built a successful one, now working as a Creative Director. But the workshop always called me back.
Over the years, I returned to it—after hours, on weekends, and when time allowed—creating meaningful pieces for the people I love most: my family. What you see in this portfolio is the result of that journey. A place where creativity, intention, and craftsmanship meet.
Lately, more and more people have asked, “Justin, when are you going to really give this furniture thing a go?”
So—here I am. I’m giving it a go. Officially.
What Drives Me
I’m motivated by the idea of creating furniture people can’t imagine living without. There’s something incredibly powerful about owning a piece that’s been made just for you—designed with intention, crafted by hand, and built to last.
Every piece I make has a story. From the initial design, to the wood selection, to the final delivery—each step is purposeful. But that story doesn’t end when the piece leaves the shop. That’s just the beginning.
Once it enters your home, it becomes part of your life. It holds space during holidays and family dinners, quiet mornings and loud celebrations. These pieces reflect who we are. They’re meant to be lived with, loved, and passed on—heirlooms in the making.
That’s the kind of work I want to be known for. That’s why I’m here.
